Pastor Daryl Jefferson, I am the Senior Pastor of Bethel New Life Ministry located in Downtown Muskegon, Michigan. Prior to becoming the Senior Pastor of Bethel New Life, I was the Assistant Pastor of Zion Tabernacle House of God Muskegon. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop David Wimbley. Over the course of my 30 years being saved the Lord has blessed me to be a leader in ministry! I’ve served as a Deacon, Minister, Elder, Executive Board Member, Pastor over Operations, and Managing Administrator overseeing Zion’s Financial Business and Ministerial programs. During these many years of service, I have achieved many milestones both spiritually and naturally. Achievements securing contracts for financial projects and spiritual growth programs. I believe that with the Lord’s help we will continue building God’s Kingdom.
As Senior Pastor of Bethel New life Ministry, I believe the church should be a place where people come to participate in ministry, regain their life, and lifestyle back. Where people in ministry will give back to Our families and community. I believe “A person can come to Jesus as they are, but with Jesus as the focus they should not stay as they are.” I believe that when we “Love like Jesus” people will see that there is hope!
I am married to my lovely wife of 33 years Lesia Jefferson.I have two children, four grandchildren ,and 1 great grandchild. I am an alumni of Muskegon Big Reds, and The International Apostolic University of Grace & Truth, obtaining my Bachelors.
I am Lesia Jefferson the Elect Lady of Bethel New Life Ministry, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Daryl R. Jefferson, my Pastor and loving husband of 33 years. We have two children, four grand-daughters and one great-grandson. Before attending Bethel, I was a member of Zion Tabernacle House of God Muskegon for over 30 yrs, led by Bishop David Wimbley the Sr. Pastor. Baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in 1990.
Throughout my time serving at Zion and being saved for 30 years I’ve had the pleasure to grow through many Ministries. The Usher Board, Nurses Guild,Greeters, The Zion Tabernacle Praise Team, the Finance Committee, the Pastor Cabinet, Marriage Ministry, Appreciation Committee and the Church Anniversary Committee. I was blessed and received my call into ministry to preach the Gospel where I graduated in 2015, as Valedictorian.
Since February 2, 2020, becoming the Elect Lady of Bethel I believe in being an example to the Women of God, I believe in Saving Souls, I believe in being Supportive to our Ministry, I believe in Building up the Kingdom of God, being leader in our Community, and lastly I believing in “LOVING LIKE JESUS”
I am a Muskegon Heights Tiger Alumni, Muskegon Community College Alumni where I have earned a CDA and Associate Degree in Early Childhood graduating with honors Summa Cum Laude, I also have an Associate and BA with the International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth.
